A friend and I put a gallon of herculiner on his Sami. No problems that we noticed until today. As he was getting in I noticed a large chip missing. The only thing that comes in contact with the area missing the herc. is his foot. I put 2 coats on my nerfbars, beats the hell out of the ghetto nonslip tape that comes with them. I also added mucho sand (non skid floor grit) from Lowes. I haven't had a problem with my nerf's. And they hold super muddy boots with out a problem. Just don't try to run your had x-ross them. Youll loose some skin.
