My truck is the white 89 K5 with the tubular doors.. with a new addition of 14 bolt/Detroit locker/4.56 gears and a Dana 60/Tracloc/4.56 gears. Care of my 78 K30..
Michael... those tubular doors were one of the coolest additions to my Blazer.. made me even bolder off road since I can see where I was placing my front tire..

I can see where it would help, how long does it take to swap them on and off? Two person job? Looks great!

The tubular door's were a one person job.. but my wife likes to help me work on the truck.. I would recommend 2 people.. I supported one door on my thigh as I unbolted it.. then I almost dropped the door on me..
So it was much easier when my wife helped..
The door's are a big hit.. they sure do get some attention when driving.. finally.. I can enjoy what the Jeeper guy's get to enjoy !!!!
Now .. If I could just find a tubular tailgate... I could shed more weight off the truck.. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Do you have power windows and locks? How hard is it to disconnect them when you took your doors off?

I'll donate my truck for a model cage mockup... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
I need to do something with the front end.. I want a SEC style front bumper.. but don't want to pay the high price that comes with it..
