I was tired of seeing all the Colorado Crew stuff so I just wanted to put the Az back up.
Works for me.
On a side note, any dirt track race fans on here? So far since the 31 Dec, I've been to 9 races. I think I'm taking this weekend off.
I mostly go to www.usadirttrack.com
One of the nices track I've been to.
Waiting on the powers that be to post up a BAD-A$$-all-invited-split up into two groups-wild-crazy-AZ-wheeling trip ,preferably the weekend after the truckless yard
hmm, i think i have a small exhaust leak,,,on the rear of the muffler, there's a pretty good sized hole in it.
Duct tape, Tj?
Oh and you Colorado guys, stay outta this thread. This is only for the really super duper way so fantasticly cool Arizona better than you Colorado guys, umm guys. (Laugh dangit! This is sposed to be funny n stuff)
By the way, any of you live in Durango? Could you PM me if you do?
Hell yeah, More arizona.
No doubt the board has changed......
Oh well ..... screw it!. Let's go wheel...! FWP - you ready?!
I'd like to tag along with you fellow AZ wheelers; however, all I have is my Polaris Predator to go on. If you guys do I day run that I could go on, I'd love to go.
Tucson doesn't count
Why? Go for it Paul, you're a power that be
So give us the details
If the front driveshaft that I got from Paul that he got from..........heck I can't remember.....is functional, we may be actually more or less, after a fashion, maybe just maybe, ready to hit the trails again.
Spent all day (from about noon till 10:45 p.m. damnit) yesterday swapping out 208s, the "new" one seems to actually stay in gear. Another positive is when I tore apart the one that's in Wimpy now, to replace shifter pads, there weren't any metal fragments to be found.
So in essence, we may now be relatively sound enough to not cause a hassle to anyone. Thanks again Fred for saving our bacon the last time we were able to go out.
On a side note, does anyone have a connection to Lockrite? All we need is a c-clip washer thingy and we can have a locker in the rear.
We're really itchin to make it back out again but as we're still all open diffs(but not opposed to body damage) we can't do the gnarly stuff.
Long post but thanks for readin.
If you get me a diagram or part # I can call 4wheelers and see how much they want.
I bought it from Google . Since the one I had , and since gave to Fred , had spit a cap when it was still ShawnaDaves
Its the spacer that the driver rides on , which happens to also sit over the c-clip so it don't fall out .
Paul that will work. I will call them tomarrow and see how much the piece is.
Thanks Paul and Matt that's really nice of you to do.
On kind of a different tack, do you still have that skidplate Matt? I know I've told you a dozen times that I'd be by to get it but..... Oh also, I almost stopped by your house on Wednesday as pretty close to there was one of the places that Wimpy almost left me stranded. Took me two hours to get from Lake Pleasant Rd. and Pinnacle Peak to Sanderson Ford and then home at Tatum and Thunderbird. Finally get rollin and then BANG! it'd come outta gear again. Loads and loads of fun. Especially when I was blocking traffic.
I haven't taken the old 208 apart yet but should they rattle when you shake them?
Separate names with a comma.
