nothing too exciting, i was just on one of my 'not web wheeling binges'

but we just went to paragon, so i figured i'd post some pics
we tried signing up for a monthly ride, but they no longer do black trail rides... but when we told them who we were (regulars i'd call us) they said just show up late, and stay off the blues and greens. we happily obliged. we got there late, and looked for something new. nobody had ran trail '00 confused' so we gave it a go. real nice trail, pretty rough, the real hard stuff had go-arounds, and there were exits everywhere for the weak. took us a few hours, we had to re-attach a radiator half way through, but no biggie. after confused we played on pipe bender and the rock course, brian wrecked his 3rd short side axle.... breaking his new years resolution, and a loaner shaft:D

    heres some pics:

Hey Ryan, glad to see you around here again. I wheeled with you, your pops, pete (yunit), and rick in his cj at RC a few years ago when I bent my driveshaft. I haven't been back there since, but have been hitting up PAP a few times a year lately. Hope to see you out on the trails again someday.

Wow, that would be why I haven't seen Rick on the jeep forums in a while, I dented that sub pretty bad at PAP, even rolled it onto it's side. Sold it about 2 years ago. Was wheeling a YJ for a little, but am building an XJ right now. Hoping to be done in time for PAP on the 27th, but only have 30's to roll on for now. Tall jeep with tiny tires...

    x2

the big rock that everyone is climbing in the first set of pics. is that on confused? I have been on that trail but didn't know the name. that rock is fun to play on when there are smaller rigs with you. I love watching them get hung up.

nice rigs.:waytogo: how is it getting around with the longbeds though?

i'll post next time we're gonna head out, or even when my pop just needs more for a group
it's not the beds that slow us up, its the heeps....

j/k we just drag the beds around whatever.
we don't really care about body damage.... at all
sometimes we have to K-turn a time or two, but its all good

    yeah, thats on 00 confused.
nice trail. especially if you want to test out the hard stuff. there seems to be go arounds for a lot of the obstacles
usually when we bring a newbie out for the first time we like to hit wompum... just for the ledge at the top

went on wompum right after they cut the new parts. ripped my steering box right off the frame.:doah: fixed it so that now I will rip the whole side of the frame off first. went right back to wompum and finished the trail. Know which ledge you are talking about.

That trail is where they had that exibition rock race back in the fall from what I can tell. Those moon buggies had a hard time on some of it...
