I haven't been around here much lately life is just too busy. And then this happened last weekend. I figured you guys could appreciate carnage like this. In case you are wondering yes, I cried like a baby I was 5 hours away and could do nothing. Oh and no Jeep jokes please. If I had not been in such a hurry the day we left town the Burb would have been in there too. The rest of the pics are here. http://james.semoatvriders.com/Shop%20Damage/

Yep, and I guess I left out the part that the only real damage (other than the building being destroyed. :doah:) Was the hardtop on the Jeep and my mig welder. The car and the Jeep both left under their own power and are stored elswhere right now.

Both. Tree was in worse shape than I ever imagined and we had rain and one storm right after another. I am just glad I wasn't home and in there. Yes I am insured but the vehicles were not, Jeep has liability only so no help there. I hope to get some word back from the insurance later this week. Everything has been turned over to the adjuster. It sucks to say the least right now. The building was only 1 year old too.

    man that sucks

I belive that home owners insurance will cover any damage that happend in the building as long as you have let them know you add a building.

My brother-in-law lives in the Van Buren area, sounded like he just got a lot of rain. Tough luck, but at least no one was injured

Is that an old Monte or GN under that ruble? Man, that's a bummer, at least nothing besides the building got torn up. I'd be devistated if uninsured vehicles got destroyed..

Wow, what a mess. Sorry to hear you had to come home to that.
Maybe your insurance will cover the Jeep because you were storing
it in there? right. Good luck, I hope they treat you ok.

Nope they have already informed me that they won't. It has to be a watercraft of some type to be covered under the building policy. Sucks but it could have been worse I drove it to my buddies shop under its own power and it went straight. LOL I have located a top pretty reasonable so I hope I'll have enough left over to buy that.
