What combo tranny/Tcase do you have?
if you try and turn the yoke does it have a lot of play? more than 1/8-1/4"?

Your Tcase is the 208, it has that problem of clunking from the slip yoke, do a search on that it was discussed a lot in past week, maybe 2.
As for the axle check for play when you block the tires and shift in neutral. You shouldn't have more than a light wiggle.

yeah, its got atleast a good 1/8 of rotation. it seems like when I come to a stop, the truck "rocks" back abit, and thats when I hear it, then again when I take off, not very loud but, I notice it and it bothers me.
