Seems to be the new "thing" in post titles. However it doesnt' have anything to do with this post.

Just wanted to share a little URE preparation progress being made here in Sowelltown. Gravelmaker diff cover, limiting straps and comp bumpstops.

Forgot the straps pic:o :doah: The straps are actually on top of the frame rail now. I took this picture after the first install. After a suspension test CB and I decided that they were about 3" too long. So I installed the 1" shorter set I had and bolted them to the top of the frame.

I might had glanced at your rig:whistle::whistle: although I'm really not sure.:wink1:

Anyway after ripping the shocks off I figured I needed to limit some travel. I've just a few more loose ends to tie up like: reinstall my tranny/tcase belly pan that for some unknown reason I removed before the tellico trip, relocate the battery to the firewall, mount the overflow ressy, and a few small wiring issues like the radio and install a cb antenna. Also got to put new tires on the trailer......find a tent.........and camping equipment.

That is a good idea for straight drives!

I used to use the manual choke like that for a cruise control on my '69 Chevy van. Worked pretty well on the flat lands of Louisiana!!! :D

Finally cut the rear ubolts today. Also managed to get the belly pan back on, fixed the wiring issues (radio works again), made a new drivers mirror mount and mounted a cb antenna.
