Hey WAXER, what were the results of the ATF experiment?

    Yeah I would like to know what happened too! I just rebuilt my motor .030 over and new everything except heads and intake, I figure if I do this thing it will clear all the carbon off the valves right? Let me know step by step how to do it please!

    Get the motor running, pull up the rev's a bit and slowly pour about 4 ounces of atf in the carb. Caution...it will smoke like you would not believe, kep running till smoke is gone, oe else you might be changing the plugs.

    Zack, help me out here... You just rebuilt a motor and now you're going to put ATF in the engine??? I'm sorry. Flame me but that just doesn't make sense to me.

    Unfortunately I didnt have time to do it this weekend. It has been raining in Ca like crazy lately and this was the first weekend it hasnt rained. I will do it this upcoming weekend and post the results. Maybe even take pics of the process and post em up as well. I'll keep ya posted.
