We have lots of legal performance products in S.C. Someone from CA will chime in and give you the do's and don'ts.

Welcome aboard. You will find that you get more answers if you are specific about what you are looking for. Of course in La. we have no smog rules that I am aware of. :D

A swing away is easy to find, if it's attached to a bumper. :D DIY4X makes a beefy one.

Edelbrock makes 50 state legal headers. Check out the tubular exhaust systems. I think Thorleys are legal also, if you order them so equipped. Some MSD Ignitions, distributors, etc. also have the CARB label, so they are legal. The Holley truck avenger carb is not street legal, but Edelbrock has one that is legal (#1400) (most guys like the quadrajet for offroad though). K&N Replacement Air filters are legal. Edelbrock performer intakes are 50 state legal. Edelbrock also has some legal cams. That's all I can think of right now.
