Finally got my old Hi Lift mounted inside............used the Hi Lift mounts to bolt it to my side panels. Good solid mount, fits perfectly.

Couple of pics on my site - click below - and the whole series here ------------> http://community.webshots.com/album/31743986EbJZgjfLyO

Very robust mount system - has a hole in the threaded rod to put a lock through for those topless days . Not a bad project for $20.

cool,

i was gonna do that, but decied to put in between the front and rear seat, aactually more like right behind the front seats. i have a 72 so the floor does not drop. i put an angle brakets on the roll bar and lock it down with a lock and the other end i used a longer bolt that goes through the hilift to bolt it down.
i'll get pics

later,

ARQ.

Mine is mounted similarly. I made some steel brackets for the the jack mounts, though. Pics: http://tellicok5.rockcrawler.com/photo3.html I used to have a " measured drawing & materials list" just like Norm on the wood shop show. If any one wants to copy I can find it and put it back up. If you do this project make sure it is secure, you don't want a 50 lb steel bar flying at you.
