Is the High Angle SYE kit for the 241 just an Advanced Adapters setup? I kind of caught that somewhere on high angle's site but couldn't confirm it. If it is I have a local race shop that sells AA stuff that I will deal with.

I'm not sure who made it. If you order it from Jess you can get the flange at the same time for the CV shaft.

Will I need a new front output flange as well for a 1 ton CV there as well?

You can have your flange machined to accept the 1 ton CV, or Jess will sell you one already machined & you send him yours as a core.

I think Jess is doing SYE's with JB Conversions. I ordered my SYE, new chain, and complete 241 rebuild kit from JB, and my flange, f/r cv shafts, and e-brake from Jess.

I've been very happy with both. 241 rebuild and SYE shaft install was simple and straight forward.

now all I need to do is figure a way to clock the 241 or raise it up a little and make a beefy skid/crossmember.

Hey Steve, that 241 on the front page looks backwards. Or is it a drivers side drop?

Yeah, it's for an IFS, same thing just different side, I couldn't find a really good pic of a passenger side drop 241, I should put a "IFS 241 drivers side drop pictured" under it.

You could probably get away with mirroring the pic...

Here's some pics of my old NP241 out of my '90 Sub. It's got a different kind of SYE.
    chvyhs's 241

You can use one of these if you want. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Is that one of those drill a hole into the shaft ones?? Not a chance I would run that. Bearing support is the reason for SYE kits, that just has the bushings working for it.
