I only have an hour or so before i believe I have to be at work and I need to slap the new cat I got on yet. Its a high flow car sound honey comb style but it won't slip onto my Y pipe with the "inlet" end. However teh outlet slips on with a little force so can I install it backwards? I don't see why it wouldn't still do its job.

Just installed it backwards. No idea whether tahts good or not but hey for inspection it has a cat. It barely sounds different, high flows don't act very as much mufflers. Power is the same as well. Just need to slap on a set of tailpipes and she will be ready to be put out for sale. I am gonna adapt the stock 2 1/4" duals with 2 1/2" to 2 1/4" adaptors and put those on.
