Just thought I'd put these on here for whoever might want to see them. My truck is the black 1987 Blazer. There were lots of sweet fullsizes there, more than usual! It was a great event up in the Sierras by Shaver Lake over Labor Day weekend. Even though I consider myself somewhat of a "redneck", there were definitely some hard core rednecks in camp!! [IMG] You can see their stars and bars pride in lots of pics! ha,ha And the overalls were plentiful! he,he

Also, you can see the sticker I had made up by Jeff Lyons (It's not just a Jeep thing and I do understand!)

    Steve,

Just take Hwy 168 all the way up to Shaver lake, then go past Shaver by about 10 miles. After you get to the second "Sno Park" (the first one is on the left, the second one is on the right), you go into the parking lot. At the back of the small parking lot is the trailhead for Sierra Base Camp. Just take that semi paved road in about 3 or so miles I think. Look for signs for "Bald Mountain" trail, I don't remember if it had a trail number or anything. It was a sweet trail. The trail can pretty much be done by any 4x4, but the optional play areas where we took the pictures are damn tough!!! I did all but one of the 5 obstacles that were part of the poker hands (you do the obstacle, they give you a sealed card that makes up your poker hand, whoever gets the best hand wins $$). The one I didn't do, I was in line to do it, but after seeing the carnage of teh first ten trucks or so, I decided that I liked my body the way it was and that I had to actually DRIVE my truck home over 300 miles still!! I would do that trail again in a heartbeat!
