For my roommate, because she's wee, and worried about the fact we have no downstairs light. Other things also make her worry, so I figured this would be a cheap solution, at $21 after shipping.

    100 kV!

I'm inviting my friends over tonight. :D

    It will knock you down.

Electronic dog collars are fun. Where it at a party, and make bets on who can last the longest. Setting's 1-7. 7 took me down, like a rag doll.

That's not a stun gun, this is a stun gun......................................

    :D :D :D

And yes, they do have models for you civilians

Remember, when it comes to home defense and your life, pissing off the bad guy is not the object of the game. Defeating him and rendering him useless and/or ending the threat is the object...............................................:D :D :D

I can't drag the site up right now, but I was shown a company website today by my undersheriff. The company makes collapsable, ar-type stocks for shotguns that is supposed to reduce recoil by like 50%. He is looking at trying one out. If it's a good product, I would imagine that it would be the next best thing for the female at home that needs some ass kicking self defense options................

If you must do that, wait till after you have kids, or freeze some stuff, because with a stun gun, I think your going to start with manliness, and end with bacon bits. :eek1:

Cheaper than dirt has a similar one (if not the same co.) in the last few catalogs I've got from them. I don't know if it claims reduced recoil, but it is the AR style stock.

dunno about the rest of the world... but in my neck of the woods "stun gun" is universal lingo for any electrical zapping device... if you have something like the gizmo you pictured (ie that actually shoots electrodes), we call it a "Taser". Yes, I know thats a specific brand name... but its sort of like how people used to say "just Xerox those papers" instead of "just copy those papers". The brand name becomes a verb.

damnmint, don't you know contra-positive arguments when you see them?

The way I see it if there's only one story that can ever be told, then there's only one story, mine.
How do you get blood off of concrete anyway?

    here's how..

MURIATIC ACID works pretty good!..:D ..bet it dissolves bones too! :wink1: (better wear gloves, its NASTY stuff!)..

I had to wash some deer blood off the driveway a few years ago, when a 1994 Mustang GT T-boned an 8 point buck right in front of my driveway!..the highway department had to use a backhoe to load the carcass into a dump truck!--they even had a fire truck come hose the street and my driveway down for me...deers must have 5 gallons of blood,it was everywhere, even splattered on my mailbox!...made a huge stain, but the acid got most of it off,the rest washed away in a few weeks..
