The wife and my self were coming home from a weekend in the central coast and 2 exits from our house on I-80 in Sac some Dumba$$ Mu*#$% F$@!@!#$ lost control trying to pass everybody and slammed into my front pass side making me slam the center freeway wall. Then took off. Hit & Run
It was 10:45pm last night. slammed my head hard, broke the center console with my hip, the wife hurt her neck and back. All my wife saw was head lights.I know the car is a red from all the paint we traded. The only thing not damaged on our cherokee is the passengar doors. Nice way to celerbrate our first wedding annaversary. But I guess any wreck you can walk away from is a good one, atleast thats what all my friends are telling me while Im looking at my soon to be totaled jeep. Got a headache and walking funny now. I just hope some stupid ricer racer comes in to my shop with driver side damage to his red car....I got something for him !!!

O well atleast it was a J**P ...LoL

I hope you and the wife are ok. If you called the police and reported a hit and run and told them what color car it was then the police should have alerted all the local body shops about keeping a look out for a red car coming in for body damage to such and such corner or where ever. You might end up being able to sue this guy if he is found and he will do some jail time also. A hit and run with bodily injury in the state of California is a felony.

there are 2 types of people, those that are going to crash, and those that are going to crash again.

you walked away, that is the important part.

    speedy recovery

Glad to hear you and the wife are OK.

The police should alert local shops as someone said. If not do it yourself. Hell do it yourself anyway! Make a description of the car and the injuries you and the wife have and fax it to all the local shops to call the police. I have seen it happen. A shop I worked at had an S10 come in that was wanted. We had IDed the truck by a mirror left at the scene and they were able to narrow the search to the S10s or Sonomas. When it came in for an estimate a few weeks later the boss called the law and the guy was snagged right then and there.
