I just got a universal class IV hitch that CLAIMS to be able to fit chevy/gm pickups for my 88 K5. Well, the truck had an old class II hitch that I took off.. this one doesnt seem to fit due to the little hump in the frame below where the bumper supports mount.

Have any if you installed a K5 SPECIFIC hitch that had clearance to get over ( or rather under ) this bump without having to screw around with long bolts and shims? If so.. do you remember what brand it was?

Also, do suburbans have the same "bump" in the frame? Im able to locate Sub specific hitches.. and I imagine they would work if that same bump is there.
