Holley Carb. . .how to get the float bowls off

    Um, yeah, just the four bolts then just use some leverage? There was nasty orange gelled gas in them that poured out on me today. I finally figured out what that junkyard smell is, that ALL junkyards smell like. . . OLD GAS!

    I remember before they finally came out with better gaskets , we all would use cherry Chapstick ( seriously ) on the gaskets so they would seal , yet still come apart easily ( and reuse on test and tunes ) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Yup if its stuck , do what you thought and pry them off /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
