Well all just thought i might just post a thread about my adventures. Today I went out to Hollister Hills with a few buddies of mine, my truck and another guys jeep. Got there at 10 at 10:05 my friends convinced my i should try the first mud hole (the one that swallowed LiftedAssDodge).

I promptly dove into the pit. It looked ok threw a few rocks and sticks in and the didn’t sink, hell i could walk on it.

Well checking out the pit and all my conclusions didn’t mean to very much cause i threw it in 4lo, let it go and promptly sunk right up to my frame. I’m gunna try to post some pictures but it took 4 trucks to get my out and some recycled tow strap (we snapped 3 of them!) and some chain to get me out. 3 hours later I was back wheeling again. God it was great.

P.S. I destroyed the trim around my 2 front fenders if anyone has extras lying around who would like to donate them or sell them send me a PM.

hey a bunch of guys and a big truck is a dangerous combination, the fact that a truck with 38s got stuck should have been my first clue not to go in.

You should have been in high range. Mud is all about tire speed...the more the better.

Actually it has been about 2 and a half months ago since my incident with the mud pit at Hollister and my horrible swamp smell is gone. That was with leaving the windows down for two weeks straight. Of course I had 2 feet of water inside my rig also.

I wasn't at the mudhole you guys are talking about, I was in the mudpit. The Mudpit is in the obstacle course area.

Maybe at blazerfest. We can see who can "talk the talk" and who will "walk the walk"
Sounds like we're gonna have a heads up competition in the mud pit between these two guys. We're gonna have to see who will put who to shame. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif lol /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

    Steve,

I have a winch, just haven't fabricated the front bumper to mount it up to yet. Hopefully by Blazer Fest I'll have it on so that I can do tank trap.
