Twisters on water are not as dangerous as those on land.

The land type twisters do more damage because they pick up more stuff rather than just water, which can only sting you by the piercing. Land twisters pick up all sorts of crap. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

As much as I miss water around, seeing those kind of things is a good reason to stay here in the desert... /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

I've been camping when it has happened. Nothing like seeing hundreds of boats, coolers, tents, tackle boxes, life jackets, and boat docks thrown all over the lake! Of course I slept through the whole thing (also slept through 30 mins. of fire alrm in our building last week), but awoke to a surprise. Glad I put a few extra stakes in the tent when I put it up.
