They do make 15.5 inch rims, I think Izuzu trucks come with them. The tires on the other hand I am extremely doubtful of.

Jump on them, just think of the prestige of owning the only set in existance. Worth twice that price just for the bragging rights !!!! :haha: :haha: :haha:

    Should I weld a 1/2" bead to my 15s or cut 1" off a set of 16.5s?

throw em on some 15's as is. they'll fit so tight, you'll never need beadlocks:eek1: :haha:

thats supposed to be a joke but you have your numbers backwards. a 15.5 would fit loose on a 15 inch rim. 14.5 inch tires do exist. I have them on my trailer. 1/2 sizes were designed for heavy duty applications. 14.5, 16.5, 17.5, 19.5, 22.5, 24.5 are all still produced today.

They do exist, and are pretty much exclusive to heavy type slow speed flotation sizes. They're harder than crap to find, but they're still sold in 3 sizes at least: 400/60 15.5TT, 500/55 15.5TT, and 500/60 15.5TT.

You'll also occasionally see 15.3" rim sizes and 16.1, though I think they're all being phased out. I seem to remember seeing an 18.5 at some point too, but I could be mistaken on that one.

learn something new everyday. 16.1 I have seen and mounted. thought I had seen them all. I worked in a commercial tire shop for 2 years and mounted everything from monster truck tires to airplane tires.
