All the snow is gone at my house, the back yard has patches of ice. This isn't good. normally I wouldn't have to worry about how much water we get becaus we have a well... BUT now since we are moving soon, we will have to rely on the city and whatever it is called for our water...that means water restrictions!
It will be weird living in town with limits on water. many times in the years I have lived out in this house I have watered the grass from the morning-the time I go to bed (different spots of grasss, not one spot) so in town it will be harsh.
Anyways, how about the rest of you Canadian brothers, hows the snow/water table?

BTW, the snow is totally gone in the Canmore and Banff townsites. There's still plenty up on the rocks, though.......Heck, The frost is even starting to come out of the ground!!!!!

We hit 11' today, but by Saturday night we're back into the deep freeze. They're calling for -29' overnight. Just when it felt like winter was over, too.....:tongue1:

Winter Olympic's are 5 years away...2010. Trust me there is absolutely no point checking the weather now as it has no corrolation to 5 years from now. I have seen as much as 900+ cm on 'local' mountains, as well as almost bare conditions like this year. The time to worry would be if the next four years are exactly like this one.

i think it was just because the comistion was in town checking it out that SOMEONE started a rumor about, them worrying about it.

but they said that the comistion is not worryed and there are plans even if there is low snow levels

I bet even if there was little snow they could make enough.
