I just packed my truck to go back to school and realized that between beer and hard liquor I have a little over five gallons of alcohol. :doah:

Some of it is courtesy of Schell's brewery right here in my hometown...they bought out the Premium label a little while ago and now produce grain belt. Used to suck when Minneapolis Co. brewed it but now it's a damn good beer.

What are some good beers that are brewed local to you guys?

Dude, I love Fat Tire :p: Everytime a I hear of someone going to West Texas or CO I have them on the hunt for a case of it to bring home. Hopefully they'll start selling it a little farther east in the future. For now, Abita Beer is the best local Brew around. Abita TurboDog got votted best Brew in America by Stuff Magazine. (I prefer the Amber but TurboDog will do)

Abita is brewed about 50 miles from me. They brew several great beers, but my favorite may be Turbodog, advertised as "a bit stronger" -

I'm also a fan of Fat Tire. Its not a local brew to me, but I still drink it. It goes great with a nice steak dinner, BTW.

Yep Fat tire is good stuff. Not too long ago I got to do traffic control for a series of commercials they were shooting!! So they pay for a few mods on the jimmy I figure I can return the favor and buy some of thier product.

Just tried a new kind from Ft. Collins last night too. Levity Amber Ale from Odell Brewing company. Yummy!!!!!!

Lumina Lager from the Front Street Brewery in downtown Wilmington. We got a keg of it for Halloween. That is some TASTY beer.

Holy hell, it's all over the place in New Ulm. There are three liquor stores in town and there's honestly an entire corner in each one that's just a pile of premium and premium light cases. We've even got it at both stores in Brookings. If you want I'll bring you a case or two when I make my tour of Iowa. :p:
