looking for a hood ornament for my 83k-5 mine says "6.2 litre Diesel" which is fine, but there is no longer a diesel engine in the car. Will trade for anything chevy related, preferably k5.

Or just keep the diesel badge on there, an unobtrusive theft deterrent. Its funny, but I've known really nice cars that had diesel badges on them that should have been stolen (neighborhood, condition, time) that were never touched, the only explanation that makes any sense is the diesel badge.

Why insist on counting when the ring gear has the tooth counts stamped in?

Last time I saw them in LMC they were like $60 bucks. Maybe I am mistaken. I will have to get the catalog and see. The thing with getten them from a junkyard is that they may be broken and will almost certainly be faded. (If that a prolem)

Send me your address and you can have mine. It has a bowtie on it. I sold the k-5 so I don't need it anymore.
