hooker super comps or thorleys

    i have an 87 k5 350 tbi and i was wondering which header do you guys think is better i know the tholeys are expensive but are they better than the super comps?

    oh I think Thorley's are the ultimate, but do you wanna shell out $400? I've got a set of hooker super comp's, and I love them. I also have a set of flowtech after burners, and I love those too (and they were a lot cheaper! - $185 with a really good coating on them)

    The Super Comps are made from thin guage tubing to save weight. If you want Hookers, get the regular, thicker jobs.

    How about Edlebrock nickle plated headers? anybody heard anything about them?

    Yea the edlebrock headers are sweet, just expensive. We used them quite a bit a work and fit awsome.

    so should i look into the edelbrock ones or are the thorleys better?

    edelbrocks are much better IMO
