    I just recieved a email about a local guy stripping a dualie truck. I'm waitinng to find out if it's 4 wheel drive or not. My friend knows It's a 30. but doesn't know if it's a C or a K. What would the 4X4 dualie trucks with a 30 be ???? C or K ???

    c means 2wd, k means 4wd. so if it is a 4x4 then it is a k.

Wouldn't be much of a find...because it's a dually front. Different from knuckles-out, I believe...something about the overall length matching a dually rear.

Plus, you just acquired an 8lug 3/4 ton front...now you're just getting greedy. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I've still got a 1/2 ton ten bolt. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif (In the summer that will change)

Yeah, but I would buy a Dana 60 front anyday if I could find one cheap. Can't a D-60 from a dualie be modified ???

yes, you can either buy the hubs for the dana 60 new or get the dually hubs machined down, either way is not cheap, but you might luck out and find them laying in field /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

New hubs can be found on ebay for 150$ there up there all the time that is cheap considering what machining will cost and it is weaker than than new hubs.

Just remember that's $150 each for the new hubs. Also the price went up but you can still get the old price if you bring up the old add.
