man, my truck has just about got to the point where any thing over 2 hours means it has to be towed. i grew up on a farm, and when dad said hook up to the trailer and take what ever is on it, to where he wanted it to go, i just did it. now i have lots of questions regarding hitches (weight distrubuting vs. weight carrying), etc, etc, etc.

i know that a lot of guys on here have a lot of exp with towing, and know that quite a few people on here tow theirtrucks to rides.

i have a tow vehicle but have questions about hitches, trailers, GVWR and so on.

    just wondering.....rob

Good idea for a forum. Many of these trucks are used for towing, and other offroad purposes other than rock crawling. Many parts of the country don't even have the rocks to crawl. For years, I built my trucks to survive offroading in Montana and Wyoming during hunting season and winter storms. Still do but now spend more time fishing and towing my travel trailer.
