I am sorry this may not be the right place to post this but I was just curious how you put a pic beside your name for your posts. Thanks,
Andy

That is okay /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif If you go to the top of the page and click the My Home link. It will bring you to your Home where your settings are. If you scroll down to your "Main Configerations" sections click the little EDIT that is next to your your "personal information" colum.

Then you scroll down to the box that says "edit url to your picture" There is where you put the link for your picture.

(you probubly know this part but if not) You have to have the picture hosted online someplace like webshots or your own server. I think geocities lets you host pictures too but I am not sure.

Anyway if you have that then go to wherever you have your picture hosted, find the picture and right click it. A box will come up. On the bottom of the box you will see properties. Click properties. If you look on the properties box you will see where it lists the url for the picture. Just copy that and past it into your "edit url to your picture" box. Then click okay at the bottom of the page. Thats it, then you can go into the test forum and make a test post to see if it works.

Gee I hope that wasnt confussing and I hope that helps. If there is anything I missed someone please add it in. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think the picture you are using is too big. Do you have anything you can size a picture with? I think it has to be at least 120 pixels or smaller. I will double check that. Very nice truck by the way. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Webshots wont let you "post from the host" so to speak...thats why it's showing up as a X

image station works pretty good!

I also think it needed to be resized and the file size was too big. When I hosted it it gave me a red x until I got it down to a smaller file size and picture size. Then it worked.

I don't have anything to resize it with. Any way you can do it and send it to me? I'd be ever in your debt.
