Yep, the coldest that we are expecting this week is 32 or so tonight. Then it will warm back up. It almost never gets in the 20's here, and when it does you would think that its the end of the world because of all the warnings.

Hey Uglytruck......I miss that weather. I grew up in UpSate NY,

No Not Syracuse or Utica, that is mid state. My family lives in Ticonderoga now, Grandfather is in Plattsburg. What town are you in?

I heard the cold and snowfall has been pretty lacking this year.

It's not spectactularly cold here, right at 30 F right now. We haven't had the warm winter most in the east have had so far though. Normal for us is rain and mild all winter with maybe one to three days of snow on the ground. We do sometimes get one or two wind storms.

This year we've had 14 storms hit us, most of them with high winds. We've had 5 seperate snow storms with a total of 3 feet come down on us. It's been a week straight of below freezing temps and we're getting more snow right now.

The inflatable roof on the big stadium here tore and collapsed about two weeks ago now...then before they could secure it and start repairs we got another storm which tore it up even worse.

I've lived here 32 years now and have never seen a winter like this here, not even remotely close. If the forecast called for frogs or pestilence I wouldn't be surprised anymore.

My wife and I went to the grocery store Friday night when the storm was coming in.... bad move:mad: . People must have thought the world was going to end. No bread, milk, even the meat market was out of ground beef and roast it was all gone.:(

My "house" was 72* when i left this morning. :D When i stepped outside however it was MUCH colder. It has been extremely cold around here lately which is unusual for these parts but it has been getting down into the low 20's at night early morning. Suppose to rain tonight and snow (if the temps stay as cold as they are). We get snow here about once every 10 years when we have a really cold winter.

    I believe he's in plattsburg :D

Up here in Lincoln CA we got a low of 15 so far, the ice hasn't melted for 3 days now, even though it's been up to a high of 40 for a few hours around 12-3pm.
It's supposed to warm up after wednesday though :D
