How do I get my oil pan off...

Discussion in '1969-1972 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Apr 10, 2003.

Do I need to remove that crossmember? What about the motor, should I support it with a tranny jack? Thanks for you advice... 1971 K5

Support it from top with a hoist if you can get you’re hands on one and take out the crossmember. That’s about the easiest way to get to the pan with the engine still in the truck.
