Without re-caulking? Tried bleach and shower cleaner. All I manage to get cleaned off comes with a bunch of caulk.

I think you pretty much need to cut the old crap out and re-caulk. We have a shower that looks like that...which I've spent many years ignoring. :D

a cleaner like fantastic would work, or go buy a bottle of muriatic acid from the hardware store :waytogo:

the calking has falled though, so water is getting in behind you need to recalk it.

cut it all out, and cleen the serface with rubbing alcohal then calk it with 100% silicon that will stand up, use soapy water on you finger to smoth it out.

Like Dave said the caulking has failed...so unless you can get the tilex/bleach/muriatic acid behind it it'll never come clean.

My friend in aprtment maint. says to use Easy Off Oven cleaner on showers . He has had good results ( we have tried it too on a plastic tub ) getting it clean .

Spray it on , wait awhile , wash it off . Of course try it in a small area first make sure it doesn't eat anything <----- I wouldn't want to be held liable .

And the caulking may need redone anyway just because mold is currently an issue ( although we have survived thousands of years with worse LOL ) .

I really appreciate all the solid help guys! I guess I'll get ahold of the landlord and see if he'll do it.
