    ...lifting weights?

I run up to the schools weightroom and lift for about an hour and half and the results are HUGE. But when I run back home and shower, about an hour or so later, I'm back to being "normal" size again.

What can I do or take to keep the big size? The pic of me in that "ghey thread" is me at my "normal" size. I'm bigger after finishing my routine of lifting. I'd like to stay this way, so what do you guys recommend? Steroids? :doah: :D

That's just the way the body works, Wes. The older you get, the faster your pump disappears. Unless, of course, you supplement your program with something a little more powerful, which I strongly advise you don't do. :deal:

Age was one thing I thought it had to do with. I read somewhere the average male stops growing at age 35. So all those young teenagers and guys in their 20's can build up and maintain their sizes pretty easily.

At least I'm getting stronger and stronger with each workout I do. Thats something I won't lose til I get much older. :waytogo: Unless I quit the workouts that is.

    Acme Pump-o-matic.

Just wait till your pushing 40, then you will have a reason to cry over your 30 second pump.

When you work your muscles they fill with blood ie. more oxygen/nutrients to do the work. That's why muscle dialaters sell. Supposedly, they aid in that process. I have never been able to tell a real difference with them though. After you are done working the muscle the demand for oxygen goes away so the blood/size goes with it. True that when you work out you cause minor damage to the muscle so it repairs itself and grows bigger and stronger over time. No way to maintain the "pump" for longer than a short period though.
