I got the steering shaft and the piece it mounts to off the shaft on the steering box and the snap ring but I dont know what to do next, I can see the seal but i cant figure out for the life of me how to get it out other than just gouging the snot out of it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif heres a pic of where im at right now

Are you talking about the shaft that goes to the steering wheel..?? Or the shaft that comes out the bottom

If its the worm shaft (to steering wheel), you should use a seal puller...but otherwise, destroy it, without damaging the housing to get it out... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
