I have never seen a C clip as big as what's holding the rear axles in on my 12 bolt... how and the heck to you get it off? Doesn't seem like there is any way to get one edge up and work it around like you do on a smaller C clip... Do you have to get something on both ends at once, smack it, and pop it out? Is there a tool for this?

    TIA

Sorry for the newbieness of the question,,, I just figured it out... when I stuck a big screw driver in to pry the axle in to see if I had it all the way in, I noticed the springyness of the spider gear. Light bulb came on in my head. [IMG]
So once I put preassure on that, the C clip fell right off... I thought it was like the smaller ones that actually curved around and held it's self on.
