I found some stuff /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"Approximately 2.5 hours from Riverside - Take 10 East to 62 East to 247 North then travel about 25 miles to Boone Road East (GPS readings for the turn-off are Lat 34.22.06 - Lon 116.37.43 - Elev. 2980 ft. - there's a brown forest sign, I forget what it says, on the left hand side near the Boone Road turn-off but you'll make a right hand turn off the 247). Follow this out to Means Dry Lake (just a bunch of dirt roads leading straight out into the dry lake bed)."

" Here's some GPS coordinates that Rob gave to Mike before the Sledgehammer run on Feb. 20, '99 --- 34.24.87N & 116.28.47W --- I think these lat. and lon. are at the base of the "Hammers", which is only a few miles from the camp site."

If you guys have an extra seat I'm more than willing to use my GPS and help you get out to the trail head. I can also show you the camping area is. Let me know, im about 30 min from the Hammers. /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif
