How do you set adjustments on a quadrajet? 350

    1978 350 v8 quadrajet how to set air fuel mixture?

    turn two screws ? use propane?

    Just adjust for the best idle.

    Turn the right screw in until right beofre it dies or untilt he screw stops. Then turn the screw out until you get the highest idle. You will hit hte highest idle and then if you go to far the engine will start to bog and bobble, turn the screw back to the highest idle spot..
    Then repeat this prceedure on the left screw.

    Then adjust idle to 650 or personal preference.

    You may repaeat procedure to get a tad bit more accurate after you adjust the idle and then after changing settings, readjust the idle.
