I have some tires and wheels that I want to sell but I don't know the best/easiest/cheapest way to do it. I went to fedex.com to get a rate and I picked ElPaso just to get an idea of what it may cost and it was $80.00 per tire! I need to find a cheaper way to ship them if I want to sell them. I don't really want to screw with going to a trucking terminal. Any ideas?

I bought a setr of mounted tires/wheels on eBay. The seller and I split the shipping. It was $100 via UPS ground. I think that he got a discount b/c he had a business account.

He wrapped each one in plastic, put a label on them and sent them individually. Said that it was cheaper to send each one like that. He said that the oversize price for all of them as one package was a lot more expensive. I would have thought that 35's on wheels would have been oversize, but I guess not.

Greyhound is cheap, your right about that. You might also consider splitting up the shipment into 2 tires per and see what the cost is.
