The only thing holding me up is the shift rod going to the rear shift fork. How do I disconnect that? TIA.

IIRC to disconnect the rod you have to go through the rear of the t-case.

I was only keeping the range box for the doubler, so I unbolted them like you did, & broke the shift rod off /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Then removed the broken pieces.

Go over to OffRoad Design. I think TonyP has some drawings in his 203 thread to look at. Sorry, they didn't talk about the shift rod. Hope that helps.

I thought of that too!! I got it apart.

Next question, the 203 I have has 23 teeth on the input. Will that fit a th400?

If this is from a chevy there will only be a choice of 10, 27, or 32 spline. The 32 spline version is what fits the TH400.

Yep, you probably have a TH350 with 27 splines (tough to count all them suckers).

That's what i was afraid of. I have one my back yard I was going to build the doubler with, but I have a th400 in the truck. O well, I will just tear the t case down in the truck.

Thank you guys for your help. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
