Don(BluBlaz57) and I are gonna go to Martinez on Friday night and play around Saturday. Anyone interseted let one of us know. I'm not volunteering to be a trail leader as I hardly know the area. We're heading up just for some fun in the sun.

    Ooooh.... this is tempting. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

This would be a great chance for us to finish that trail.

I heard you can get them at Four Wheelers Supply in PHX. Its on Washington & is on the North side somewhere between 36th ST. & 44th ST. I don't remember exactly where it is on Washington. I want to say about 38th ST.

We're in Tucson. Does a hunting permit qualify? Its only for the three miles on Cottonwood Canyon right? After that it's BLM I heard.

Unless your hunting, I don't think it counts for wheeling/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif. see this link for more info..

I'll just keep my little pistola up on the dash and if I see a rabbit I'll shoot it and qualify my hunting license/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

There's an office in Tucson somewhere.... call that 602 # that Fred gave and ask them about it.

I actually heard that the "hunting / fishing" licence was valid...! Might ask them that too.

Still don't know if I can make this wheelin' trip.... So much to do 'round the house.

    Jimmyjack,

Sorry to bail on you at the last moment, but I that's exactly what I'm gonna do....

Too much stuff to do on the Blazer, looking at getting a pool (!), and have my son over for at least half the weekend. Sorry I couldn't make it...

    Have fun!

    Jimmyjack,

I too have to bail on this weekend, family things going on and 3 weekends in a row of wheeling would make the wife rather pissed.

    Next time for sure.

Marv, Rob..... don't worry about it. No sweat. Like I said it's strictly shits and giggles. One more Q tho...... is the way in from Box Canyon protected from the State Trust Permit BS? I dunno if I'll have time today to run to the state office downtown and pick one up. I've been busy all week so I've been procrastinating, now that I NEED it I might not be able to GET it!!
