good question. I would like to know this as well. And to add to his question what kind of clearence should I have from the exhaust to the floorpan? I'm running full length headers and on the side where the brace from the T case to the engine is I have very tight clearence for a 2 1/2" pipe.

Here you can see my tailpipe. It has about 3/8" of space 'tween it and the tank skid plate. [IMG]

street rod books wants everything 2-3" away from the exhaust.

both my systems are about 2" at the cloest to the tanks.
