How far can gears mismatch?????

    I used to know this but very unsure, I have 3.06's in front and 3.07's in back is this cool with a NP205?

    That'll be just fine, The gears aren't suppose to have more of a %3? differance I think, So like your 306:1's and 307:1's are fine as whould be 409:1's and 4:10's etc etc.

    3.06 / 3.07 is about 0.3% difference and should be fine. 1%-2% difference is considered the limit by many.

    I have heard that they purposely make them .01 different for ease of turning. Anybody know if this is right. I will be doing new gears and want to make sure they are right. Thanks.
