I cranked out 650.7 miles on the trip odometer. Anybody else spend a day in the parts getter? We should keep a running total of how many miles we put on just building these rigs.

A 205 transfer case. Some might say that is too far for a transfer case but, I bought it from a fellow member on here (rodzilla) and I would rather do that than some hack. Besides, not including my time I saved money. I got to spend an entire day one on one with my 11 year old. PRICELESS.

I think it was actually last month. My house to Off Road Design in Glenwood Springs to pick up a nice '91 drivers door with power everything. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif 232 miles each way and I got caught in a snowstorm on I-70 west of Denver. That made the trip seem WAY longer. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I just tell the little lady that it is a hard to find part and that I need it and she's ok with it. She understands that it is a guy thing and let's it go there. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

She told me once that If I don't finish the blazer then she wants a divorce. She doesn't want to live with that guy!!!

So, I am not a hack? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Great to meet you, Kert. Can't wait till my two are old enough to appreciate a parts run. Right now, they don't grasp the entire importance. At least they like going to the shop w/me. They both want their own toolboxes. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
