How good are these tires??

    Not to sure about tires , but it might be worth it for rim . Can you go look at them ? Only about 1 hr from Del mem bridge .

    The description on the auction site is misleading. Those tires are not for military HMMWV use. They are used for Light Armored Vehicles (gigantic lug pattern). They roughly measure out to 38.7 inches diameter (new) and are about 11 inches wide. I picked up a set last week and they are very heavy. Hope this little bit of info helps.

    Those are well worn and pretty dry. Those tires have steel belts from bead to bead (just like big rig tires). They weigh in just under 200 lbs a piece. They are a decent tire but ride stiff (load range G) and don't squat at all even without valve cores in.

    Agreed, look at the lug hole diameter. Those are waayyyyyyyyy to big for a 998 series. I think they are off of the NBC vehicles as said above.
