Are they 2 or 3 chamber Flowmasters? Do you have a part number?

I just installed two 40 series flowmasters on my Jimmy. I am running them with headers and 2.5 inch exhaust all the way and a cross-pipe. They have a low rumble at idle and it's not bad at highway speeds either. It is loud when you rev up the engine, but not as loud as glasspacks. Hope this helps.

I have Dyomax non-smog headers, no cats or crossover pipe, and 2 chamber flowmasters and it sounds good. Its loud, but not as loud as glasspacks. I recomend these muflers

you could be like me and just put headers on and im leaving them open for now hahaha the mirrors shake! its great! and its doing a good job at getting all the loose rust off the floor boards so i can undercoat it!
