I have a 72 that you'll have to pry from my cold dead hands.
I've had it for about 6 1/2 years now and it's finally getting to where I can start upgrading it with, a lift, axles, etc. etc.... I've got HUGE plans in the works forit though. No pictures that aren't already scanned, sorry.

    Buddy

I've got my dream truck and it's a 72 K-5 that is getting there!!

I've got a 70 K5. Best year(s) of the blazer in my opinion.

I really like the 1st gen blazers. Question - what kind of gas mileage do you get with these early ones?

Same as most 70's blazers with big tires, heavy axles, and mildly pumped motors... next to nuthin' per gallon... or about 10-14 miles, depending on which way the wind is blowing!

I have a 70 Jimmy (hell yeah). It's in the middle of a frame off right now, getting ready to slap the body back on as soon as it gets back from the dang body shop. It's got a 502 in it, and I had the frame Line-X(ed) and put on a 4" shackle flip from ORD. There's a Dana 60 and a 14 bolt sitting in the garage waiting to get put in. I could go on forever...

1970 GMC Jimmy (still waiting to put the body BACK on the frame)BUT 502HO/SM465/NP205
