How many ft-lbs for front spindle nuts on a Dana 44?

    i tightened them down to like 25-30, but the axle spindle thing isn't sticking far enough out to put the snap ring on.....

    Actually the axzel has nothing to do with your wheelbearing torque. all you need to do is put a screwdriver behind the steering Ujoint and push the axel out a bit to expose the grove for the sanp ring. Then when you install the outer hub housing you will want to tap it in with a rubber mallet after you put the little allen screws in to make sure the hub is seated all the way in. Don't over torque the littel allen screws[​IMG]
