ok first of all this is a serious question...
    has anyone ever done this
I have a SM465 stick (stick one)... I want to put the ranger overdrive in it (stick two)
    a model 205 .. twin sticked (sticks 3 and 4)
    and a doubler (stick five)
Id say the floorboard would be crowded to say the least...
but my real questions is driveshaft length with a modest 4 inch lift...
the ranger adds 7.5 inches.. the doubler adds.. HOW much???
and would a double cv shaft be too short then for reliable daily driver???
    ok 4 x 4 gurus...let me know
also I have a 203 sitting around.. what do I keep what do I throw away??
    cam

when I get done this is going to be one hella of a K5

"here jeepy jeepy jeepy"... Im still laughing.. I might just have to put that sticker on my rig and Im an ol conservative fart

Well you could install some cable operated OX lockers(sticks 6 & 7) and then maybe some cutting brakes(sticks 8 & 9) then it be crowded...theives wouldn't know what to do though...

SM465's are short. shorter than TH350/TH400/700R doubler combos.

A doubler is exactly as long as a stock NP203. how long is that? hell if i know...

a single CV in the rear would work, if the Ranger box ~equals what the SM465 lacks in length to a Auto with a Gen I doubler, which a few people on here are running.

so IMHO, it can be done.

hmmm. . .and a stick for your hydraulic winch (stick 10) a stick for your snow plow (stick 11) a stick for each wheel hyraulics to lower and raise each wheel indiviually to gain traction on rocks (sticks 11,12,13,14) then it might get a bit cluttered. . . some color coded labels and you'd be fine though /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    my plans are close.
    1 sm465
2, 3, and 4, doubler with twin stick
    5, and 6, cutting brakes
7, driveshavt brake from High angle.

BUT, 3 of the 7 are small. and will be out of the way.
i do dare somebody to try to steal it...

lol, I think the ultimate theft protection occurs when a rig has 4 wheel steering. I would be willing to bet given 15 minutes, even some of the best theives would be scratching their heads, not realizing they have to lock the rear hub in.

You also have ports for 4 PTO units. I think at least one of them should be used for a blender.
I have a manual line lock for the rear, it's not really a shifter stick though.

i *think* they are like split E-brakes to put more power to one wheel or set of wheels to gain traction or add power to wheels with traction.

just so ya know, the TH350 and the SM465 are the exact same length with the stock adaptors. this is what made my th350 to 465 swap so easy. all the existing holes lined up. then i took it all out....
