Friday night, my water pump went out. I replaced it Saturday and the thing ran great. No over heating.

Sunday night, my carburetor started pouring gas through the accelerator pump (that little pump that shoots a small amount of fuel into the carb when you first hit the pedal to accelerate). I took the carberator and left the truck overnight in the middle of nowhere on the trail. Luckily, Kragen in town was open Monday AND had a rebuild kit. I replaced everything in the kit and when I put it back on the truck, the truck ran great. Better than ever, except it gets really hot now. It seems to do OK unless I am driving in hot weather. Any suggestions?

    Check for:
    Bent fin's in the radiator
Radiator being plugged up, [have you had it cleaned by a rad.shop?]
Fan shroud, with fan half in/half out of the shroud
    Correct thermostat temp range
Spring in lower rad hose, [suction hose] it will collapse if it has no spring.
    Timing set correctly?
