How much ATF/Shift kit install

    How many quarts/gallons does a 700R4 hold(doen a tranny flush)but its a '84 also how hard is it to put a shift kit in the same tranny?

    it should take around 8 quarts. shouldn't be too hard to put shift kit in just don't loose the check balls.

    When I did my Shift kit in my 700 I took my time and most of a day doing it I also added a Deep pan and did the flush at the same time and a little over 2.5 gals of Amsoils ATF /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    What do you have to do and does it come with instructions(of course I wont read them /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) You dont have to pull the tranny do you?

    Yea it comes with instructions and you had better read these /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif My B&M Instructions were 11 pages now that covers everything. you'll have to drop the valve body two put in new gaskets and some springs don't forget those little ball bearings. It really not hard to do, But it's something you don't want tp mess up either /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
