Title says it all! Thanks a bunch!
according to novak it is 175 lbs
think i remember a complete carbed one is around 550 or 650lbs.
i read it once somewhere but just can't remember where.
i remember it was about 100lbs more than a small block, if you know what a SB is.
ummm, so yeah, ive been messing with a sm465 all day attempting to get the top cover on and read your 454 as a 465. sorry, i would imagine it weighs more than 175lbs.
No problem, I completely understand!
Complete BBC carb to pan is close to 685 LBS.
Thanks everyone! I was figuring about 700, I really apreciate the answers!
700 or so with all cast iron (heads, intake, water pump) Aluminum heads shave about 90# total, alum. intake saves about 35 or so, aluminum water saves about 10...
Don't forget to add about another 50 LBs for the pallet.
