How tall are the various 36X12.5 TSL, TSL Radial, and TSL SX's when actually mounted on a 10" wide rim?

I know Interco is famous for "over estimating" the actual tire height./forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

I've got a new 36x12.5x16 TSL-R that sits at 35.5" on an 8" rim with minimal weight. That's at 25 psi. On my truck now at 12 PSI, it sits at just shy of 35" tall.

I have bald 36 x 12.5 TSL's on 15 x 10's. On my truck aired up to 25 psi they are 34 1/2" tall. Add the tread depth they used to have and they are about 35 3/4" new and on the truck.

i thought interco was actually one of the better ones at stating their diameter, the "big guys" (goodrich, goodyear et. al.) are usually off in their stated diameter

    I have a set of General Grabber MT's...35 x 12.5 x 16.5. With about 50% left on em they measure 33 1/4".

Hmmmmm............sounds good guys. I've heard from people that their tires were a noticeable amount shorter than advertised. Buddy of mine just got some 38/13/16 TSL's and mounted on a 16x8 they actually measure like 37.1" and 11.5". Sounds like the 36's aren't that way. Now I just have to decide on what flavor 36x12.5R16.5 I want./forums/images/icons/cool.gif

    Anybody else?

Go to www.intercotire.com Each tire size has its O.D. on the specs table. If I remember correctly, Steve found out that these measurements were made at max inflation. For example:

    TSL RADIAL: 36x12.50xR15 = 36.2" @35psi

    Hope this helps.
